Vaser Lipo
The basis of vaser lipo selection starts with an ultrasonic energy that has been used in many other types of medical applications (think of your ultrasonic toothbrush as one very common example). While this may sound incredible, by using ultrasonic technology, vaser liposelection is able to selectively target only the parts of your body that you want removed—i.e. the fat part—and leave your nerves, muscle tissue, blood vessels, and connective tissue preserved.
Vaser Lipo sounds very complicated, and while the science behind it is, the actual procedure is fairly straightforward. First, your vaser surgeon will inject the fatty layer with a fluid (called tumescent fluid). Then the vaser’s high frequency vibration (think ultrasonic here) makes the fat cell break down and create an emulsion with the liquid that was injected beforehand. This fatty emulsion is then removed through a specialty tube. Finally, after the procedure is finished, your skin will then retract and you will be left with very natural, great-looking skin (much better than many cases of liposuction).
The key part, and one of the main advantages of vaser lipo is the fat is easier to remove because it is emulsified before it is removed from your body. While this is again complicated to understand, the best way I have heard it described is to picture what a tuning fork would do to a soap bubble—pop!
This system is used to produce great results in the following areas of your body:
-Arms (especially those fatty underarms)
-Legs (both front and back)
-Chest (Vaser Lipo is most commonly used for males who suffer from enlarged breasts and need to undergo gynecomastia treatment)
-Knees
-Ankles
-Waist
-Stomach
-Chin
-Back
-Buttocks
-Neck
-Thighs
Another advantage of this system is that the vaser liposelection cost can be lower than other forms of selective body shaping. The cost for vaser will vary depending on which doctor you go to, but still is very reasonably priced in most cases.
So is Vaser Lipo right for you? That is honestly a discussion that is best left between yourself, your family, and your physician. However, if you have tried dieting, working out, and everything you can think off, and still have certain areas of unwanted fat, then I would suggest having at least an initial conversation with a trusted doctor on the subject.
