Harmful Effects of String Breast Implants

A lot of women desire to have bigger breast and because of this, cosmetic surgeons have developed ways to enhance breasts. Among the breast enlargement procedures are string breast implants. This may have been popular in previous years but because of safety issues, its practice has been banned in most countries. Other terms used for string breast implants are string implants or polypropylene implants. Although you can still find a number of adult entertainers and models endorsing the use of this method to enlarge breasts, this doesn’t mean that you should follow their example. To understand the risks involved with this method, let’s first know more about how this works.

Polypropylene is responsible for absorbing the water or fluids from the body which causes the implant to grow bigger or expand. What you have to understand is that the saturation level of polypropylene is very high, thus it will not stop absorbing fluids from your body. This could also irritate breast tissues of the implant capsule which cause swelling and unending production of fluids. This becomes an endless cycle and the string breast implant will keep growing and you will have a bigger breast which is a lot bigger than you have bargained for.

This could really be uncomfortable considering the size and weight of the breasts. Some of those adult entertainers who had breast string implants even claim that each breast weighs about 25 pounds. Some of them may say that they are happy with the results of their string implants but they also admit that they need to see their doctor regularly to drain the excess fluids in their breasts so it won’t be absorbed by the breast implant. Doing this will help slow down the growth rate of the breast implants rather than just allowing it to increase in size and weight.

Breast string implant is surely not a good option if you are planning to have your breast enhanced. Though it will surely make your breasts bigger, but this is not the healthy way to do so. This will only bring more harm than good. So if this is still offered by any surgeon you go to, this is just an indication that the surgeon is not to be trusted. Keep in mind that this breast enhancement method is illegal, so those surgeons who are still doing this are also breaking the law. If you want to improve your breasts, there are other options which are a lot more safe and effective.
