Gynecomastia Exercise

Gynecomastia is an abnormal condition wherein a man develops male breasts or “man boobs”. It isn’t the fat associated with obesity, per se, which results in the enlargement of a man’s breasts. Instead, it is the result of an imbalance in sex hormones causing the breasts to develop in men. The proper term for men having large breasts due to excess fat cells in their chest area is pseudogynecomastia or lipomastia. Lucky for them, pseudogynecomastia can be decreased by the performance of gynecomastia exercises.

Basically, there are two forms of false gynecomastia exercises – they could either be ‘cardio’ exercise or interval training. Cardio or heart exercises are very effective in burning fat quickly. Men suffering from shameful “man boobs” should perform exercises that fall under this category if they want to reduce their sizeable breasts.

Done properly, cardio exercises could work on the chest muscles. It is advised though that only one hour of cardio is expected per day, and that it should be done alternately with weight training to prevent overworking the muscles. A few examples of cardio exercises include running, rowing, and biking.

Interval training meanwhile, is said to speed up metabolism and burn off fat real fast too. Under this exercise routine, extreme exercises lasting 30 seconds to one minute are followed by two to three minutes of easy-going exercises. One good sample of interval training exercise for gynecomastia is to sprint for one full minute, then just walking in fast pace for the next two to three minutes.

The above two forms of exercises for gynecomastia in obese men can also be combined to double the pace of weight loss. An example of exercise that combines these two is sports. It is best to engage in sports that do more hard work for the upper half of the body. This is because these types of sports apply pressure on the chest, thus enhancing weight loss in that area. Push-ups are also good because this exercise concentrates on the upper torso.

Obese men who want to regain their sense of manhood are encouraged to address their gynecomastia exercise like man boobs to continually strive towards achieving more fit bodies. Motivation, coupled with effective exercise routines could significantly decrease their weight down to the normal limits. Most importantly, engaging in active exercise would also improve their health. By maintaining their weights within normal levels through regular exercise, they could even lengthen their lives by years.
